Clean Air Fleets partners with private fleets to make cleaner, more efficient and cost effective operations possible. The program helps a variety of fleets to install emissions and idle reduction technologies on on-road, off-road and over-the-road vehicles. A list of partners is noted below.

Clean Air Fleets has numerous partners scheduled for retrofit. Examples of current projects are listed below.
American Furniture Warehouse is currently installing Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC), Closed Crankcase Filtration Units (CCF) and Engine preheaters on their over-the-road trucks to improve diesel emissions.

Eligible vehicles include Class 8 tractors, trash trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, graders, school buses, etc. greater than 14,500 GVW.
Interested fleets must operate in the seven county metro Denver are or along the Colorado Front Range. Please contact the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) to determine if your fleet is eligible for funding.
RAQC is currently taking applications for retrofit. In most cases, a 20% match on equipment prices is required to participate in the program. Match is commonly met through fleet in-kind staff time installing equipment, handling program invoicing, moving vehicles, etc. Fleets may also provide match by paying for a portion of the equipment.
